La Dame de Onze Heures

A tiny estate of 1.1 hectares, run by the dynamic duo of Beatrice & Vincent Rapin, a former interior designer (Bea) and a rock musician (Vincent).

The approach is non-interventionist, minimalist and not classic Bordeaux. The fermentations and the ageing are carried out in oak, clay, concrete and steel vats, and the result is a wine with plenty of character, extremely drinkable and of great vitality.

Every year they produce ‘Jarres’, a tiny selection of wine vinified only in clay amphoras.

Saint-Émilion Grand Cru ‘La Dame de Onze Heures’

Aromatic nose with notes of violet, plum and blackberry, Supple and fresh on the palate, silky tannins.

This will be a gem that goes well with red meats, chicken with mushrooms, rabbit or duck pâté or a nice charcuterie board.
