Thierry Fournier

Family-run grower in the Vallée de la Marne (Festigny), with about 15 ha of vineyards spread across some 45 lieux-dits, the majority planted to Pinot Meunier on clay-limestone soils. Fournier’s wines are described as “gluttonous,” vinosity-driven and rich, with pronounced body and generous texture, yet still supported by clear acidity. He uses substantial extended lees ageing and often ages in rubber-cement vats or small oak, which gives a rounded, savoury profile rather than overt toasty-brioche flamboyance.

Champagne Extra Brut ‘Réserve’

a blend of 80% Meunier, 10% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir with perfect balance. grapes are carefully harvested by hand from vineyards across the whole property. Vinification takes place in stainless steel with temperature-controlled fermentations, while after tirage the wine matures for over 24 months on its lees before disgorgement.
