Heya

Heya means “she” in Arabic. It’s a female-led project by close friends Michelle Chami and Claudine Lteif, built on female empowerment and equal opportunity. It started when Eddie Chami of Mersel encouraged them to release a few small batches. They make natural wines and co-ferments in the mountains of North Lebanon.

Farha Sparkling

A sparkling co-ferment of grapes and apples. The apples go through carbonic maceration while the grapes ferment on skins. The two are then co-fermented, bottled before fermentation finishes, and left unfined, unfiltered and undisgorged.

Nour

Nour means “light”. It’s a direct-press blend of Obeideh and Grenache Blanc from limestone vineyards at 1,200m in the Bekaa. It was made during a very difficult time for Lebanon, and the name reflects the hope in that. It’s fermented in steel and neutral oak, aged in amphora, and neither fined nor filtered. Great with grilled fish or goat’s cheese.
