Domaine Vinci
Established in 2001 by Olivier Varichon and Emanuelle Vinci, Domaine Vinci is one of Roussillon’s best-kept secrets. Nestled in the wild and rugged Agly Valley, the organically grown vineyards are surrounded by forest and the rocky slopes of the valley, a unique terroir that gives Olivier the ability to craft wines with personality, remarkable freshness and a structure uncommon in the region. All wines are fermented with natural yeasts and bottled without fining or filtration.
‘Rafalot’ IGP Côtes Catalanes
100% mourvèdre from schist soils, Coste shows the typical density and meatiness of mourvèdre but with the freshness you find in all Domaine Vinci’s wines. Dark berries, damson, leathery spice and smoke provide plenty of stuffing for the well-structured palate, which is lifted by freshness and minerality and finishes with bags of sappy, concentrated fruit.
