A collaboration between Emmanuel Roblin and Claire & Fred Niger from Vignoble de l’Ecu. Emmanuel vinifies grapes from l’Ecu for the whites, and the reds are mainly purchased from friends farming with the same ethos. All the wines are chiselled, pure and precise, charming and with plenty of personality.
VDF Blanc ‘Ekko’
Ekko is a natural wine crafted by Ab Initio, in the Loire region in France. This white wine is made with Melon de Bourgogne grapes, and is bone dry with a somewhat oiled texture. Would work a treat with oysters, as has a typical salty presence

It tastes very direct, very precise. Knows exactly what it wants to be and ROCKS ITS! Fresh and rounded balance is awesome. Expect a really cool reduction which does not smell too common. Also has touches of smoke, gravel. The schist / slate and granit soil really boosts this wine!

VDF rouge ‘Kedron’
aged for a year in Amphora. The grapes here are actually taken from Rhone's Châteauneuf-du-Pape. This wine features a little cool refuction, and a great energy alongside a sandy tannic structure that will make you crave some grilled meats to go along with it. Very impressive.
