Summer Wolff
Summer Wolff is not new to the wine world. Talent scout, importer in the US of amazing wines and -last but least- wife of Fabrizio Iuli, she spent the last 2 decades nurturing the dream of making her own wine. As she says, ‘this is the culmination of decades of dreams, ideas, study, curiosity, travel, failures and successes all coming together’.
Baratuciat ‘Ette’
The 2023 Summer Wolff 'Ette' is the second edition of this expressive and thoughtful white wine, crafted entirely from the rare Baratuciat grape, native to Piedmont. This vintage reflects both the challenges and rewards of the growing season, with favorable conditions in Summer Wolff's vineyards sparing them from the severe hail damage that affected much of the region. Benefiting from increased rainfall through spring, the vines flourished, producing a lively, textured, and nuanced wine that captures the spirit of the land and the patient approach of its maker.

Freisa 'GioGio'
"My goal was for a very drinkable, fresh and bright expression of Freisa which I’ve been getting to know over the years. We direct pressed 20% was of the fruit to allow there to be some more balance and harmony between the tannins and all the bright fruit and flower that this variety has to offer. The 2021 vintage was also hot, so I’m even more pleased with how this first vintage turned out."
The wine is named after my first son, Gioacchino, who at home we call GioGio.
