Entre Vinyes

The love child of Maria Barrena and her husband Josep Tort, Entre Vinyes consists in 15ha of old vines in the Baix Penedes, close to the Mediterranean and adjacent -and partly inside- the Foix National Park, an uncontaminated area rich in biodiversity and strikingly beautiful. The minimalist wine making is the key to preserve the character of their terroir: spontaneous fermentation, amphora ageing and a negligible addition of sulphites, just to protect the wines during their ageing. Vibrant, energetic wines that represent an astonishing value for money.

Pet Nat Rosé

Made from 100% Garnacha (Grenache) grown on calcareous clay soils at 400 meters altitude, this pét-nat is fermented with wild yeasts and bottled before fermentation completes, trapping natural bubbles. Expect a lively, slightly cloudy rosé with a bouquet of red berries and herbs, offering a crisp, dry finish.

Xarel-lo ‘Oniric’

Intense floral aromas and white fruit (apple and pear) with a background of green almond. This bitter quality is characteristic from the variety. Voluminous in mouth with a sweetish entry and white flowers. Good acidity and a persistent, lingering finish.

Xarel-lo ‘Brisat’

"Brisat" is a Catalan term that refers to an extended maceration process used in winemaking. During this process. Part fermented on its skins for 14 days, this old-vine Xarel-lo then spent 8 months in clay amphoras as well as steel tanks. It's very light in colour, low alcohol, crisp and fresh yet so soft and drinkable. Lovely fruity aromatic with a slight saline component.

Xarel-lo Vermell‘Brisat’

Grapes undergo fermentation with wild yeasts with 18 days of skin contact before going to amphora for aging. No filtration and minimum dose of sulfur. A cloudy yellow color with a slight pink hue. Wonderfully complex with structure, volume and intensity with citrus, ripe peach, floral and herbal notes. Wild and fresh with lovely tannin and minerality and a lovely bitter, crunchy finish.
