Domaine Charvin
Located in the northern part of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation, Domaine Charvin -under the guidance of Laurent Charvin- produces wines of the utmost classicism.The vineyards are planted with a majority of Grenache, and of an average age of 50 years, with the oldest plots well over 80, mainly located on north facing slopes. This, combined with a vinification that uses only concrete vats, gives wines of remarkable finesse and elegance.
VdP Rouge ‘A Côte’
A little treat... 'À Côté' is a wine for pure enjoyment. Its name was chosen as a tribute to the film "Sideways," reflecting the desire to create a balanced wine where Grenache tempers the more angular and universal character of Merlot. The nose reveals aromas of red fruit, spicy notes, and floral hints. The palate is ample, fruity, and concentrated, with a lovely finish.

Côtes du Rhône Rouge
Its garnet color is marked with cherry-red highlights. On the nose, it offers notes of red fruit and spice. On the palate, it is round, powerful, and elegant. Manual harvest, whole bunch fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeast, aged for 16 months. Unfiltred, unfined, little SO2 added at bottling.

Côtes du Rhône Rouge ‘Damon’
he parcel is adjacent to the estate and was planted by Laurent's great grandpa Elie 80 years ago and Laurent was just able to purchase it back. It's 80% Grenache and 20% other varieties (mostly Syrah). It's a warm terroir of clay and galets so it shows a rather full palate, but is nicely balanced and tastes like a young Chateauneuf-du-Pape!

Châteauneuf -du-Pape Rouge
bright and intense dark ruby color and a broad and exuberant aromatic profile with ripe red fruits, floral notes of rose and violet, and spicy touches. On the palate, it is ripe, juicy and powerful. It has a medium body and a fleshy texture. It has a dense tannic backbone and a long and concentrated finish.
