‘I’m looking to bring out the connection between the vines and our place. Our effort is to convey Sicily, in particular the Marsala terroir, returning to the traditional culture of winemaking using grapes only’. This, in few words, is the essence of Nino Barraco’s philosophy. The vineyards are spread along the Marsala coast, and this is evident in every sip: these are wines that are made of Sicilian sun and seaside sapidity, and these are wines that tell us what Marsala was before the British ‘invasion’.
Biancammare
Vinification in stainless steel; 2 days of maceration with skins in steel tank; from September to March in concrete; without sulphites added.
This very pleasant wine comes from vines that are cultivated a few meters from the sea, hence the name. This reveals iodine notes, where the acidity is confirmed by delicate notes of citrus fruits and flowers.

Vibrant, bright ruby color, with hints of black mulberry, cocoa and black pepper. The palate is fresh and enveloping, with a subtle mineral note, the expression of its territory.
