Paolo Caciorgna

The Etna adventure for Paolo Caciorgna, the renowned Tuscan wine maker, started in 2005 after his first visit to this remote area in the north-east part of Sicily. His fascination for the black, mineral-rich volcanic soil and the 100-year old pre-phylloxera nerello mascalese vines inspired him to buy a small estate of 1.3 hectares, where is produces wines of great elegance and character.

Etna Bianco ‘Guardoilvento’

Etna rosso ‘Guardoilvento’

Guardoilvento expresses the character of the altitude and the black and stony earth from which it originates.
