Jérôme Galeyrand
Originally from the Loire Valley Jérôme Galeyrand, after working with Alain Burguet & Vincent Geantet, settled down in Burgundy and started his own winery in 2001. The work in the vineyard is highly respectful of the environment, and only small amounts of copper and sulphur are used, together with herbal tisanes and infusions. The same light touch is used during the vinification, and the wines are precise, pure and elegant, and expressing the terroir without rhetoric.

Opens up with a lovely bouquet of yellow fruits, salt and stone. Very pure and precise on the palate, great energy and nerve. Crushed and pressed in a vertical wood press, ambient yeast fermentation and aging for 12 months in barrels, and 2 months in stainless steel tanks.

marsannay ‘combe du pré’
The "Combe de Pre" is located on the upper part of the slope of Marsannay-la-Côte, and is the coldest vineyard in the region. the fruit of 'Combe de Pre' is very 'lively', crisp and full of energy. Fine red fruit on the nose, graphite minerality and on the palate the wine is lighter but with excess freshness from its crisp acidity.

From the lieu-dit "En Billard" located in the commune of Brochon, Galeyrand is the only producer to produce a wine that bears the indication of this particular vineyard. The wine is extremely long and tasty with a very good structure but "relaxed" by the excellent presence of fruit on the palate.
