Domaine guillot-Broux
Established in 1978 and run by brothers Emmanuel & Patrice Guillot, Domaine Guillot-Broux extends over 17ha in the villages of Cruzille, Grévilly & Chardonnay, in the appellations of Mâcon-Cruzille and Mâcon-Chardonnay. Farming organically since its inception -one of the first in the region- they now use biodynamic practices focused on maintaining the health and vitality of soil, and the same approach applies in the vinification, with spontaneous fermentation in old barrels, minimal use of sulphites, and long ageing in order to achieve depth rather than extraction. Being Emmanuel a fellow fly fisher - it just made sense to have them on our list.
